Community Mourns Westchester Soccer Player

BRONXVILLE, N.J. -- A wake was held on Sunday night for 16-year-old Thomas Jakelich, a local soccer player who died from internal injuries after a collision with another player in a game last week, News 12 reports.

The wake for Jakelich, a student at the Loyola School in New York City, took place at the Flower Funeral Home on Yonkers Avenue in Yonkers, according to News 12.

His funeral is scheduled for Monday morning at St. Ignatius Loyola Church in Manhattan, News 12 reports.
