BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – The latest report of the Briarcliff Manor village manager covered a whole range of upcoming events and notices as May ends and June begins.

The Briarcliff Library will host a presentation of the newest version of “Walkable Westchester” with authors June and Walt Daniels on Thursday at 7 p.m.

The couple has cataloged the county's 600-plus miles of trails with a look at over 200 parks, preserves, sanctuaries and protected open spaces.

Copies of the book will be available for sale, and all proceeds will go to the NY/NJ Trail Conference.

Other village departments also were part of the manager's report:

  • The village treasurer released a reminder that individual tax bills will be mailed out on May 31, with the ability to pay online starting on June 1.

  • The Briarcliff Youth Soccer Club will hold fall tryouts for their girls and boys' U10 and U11 teams on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31, respectively, at 8 to 9:30 a.m.
