Two Ossining Men Charged With DWI

OSSINING, N.Y. – A 27-year-old Ossining man was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license after he struck a parked car with his white Toyota Camry, police said.

Aracelis Urgelles of Hamilton Avenue struck the parked car on State Street on Oct. 1 at around 5:30 a.m., police said.

In another DWI incident, a resident called police on Sept. 30 at around 4 p.m. after someone drove a green Honda into her vehicle parked on Brookville Avenue, and then fled from the car, leaving a passenger in the rear seat, police said.

Police officers found that the passenger was highly intoxicated, and after a brief search of the area, they also located the driver who had fled. Wilmer Zaghui, 18, of Ossining, was charged with DWI and the passenger was transported to Phelps Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
