Farm to Table: Kids are the Cooks, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Beth Bader and Ali Benjamin met over kale chips, bonded over kids and ultimately wrote "The Cleaner Plate Club," a book with more than 100 kid-tested recipes, lots of food tips and practical information for families trying to embrace more local, seasonal eating. Bader and Benjamin will talk about their book and more at the Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture at 630 Bedford Road in Pocantico Hills. There will be a healthy snack for sampling and copies of their book for sale.

An Evening of Argentine Tango, 7 p.m. – midnight

There will be tapas and Argentinian wine at 7 p.m., beginner and intermediate tango lessons at 7:30 p.m. and professional tango performances at 8:30 p.m. with dancers Thomas Reale and Vanja Modzelewski. From 9:30 until midnight, there will be dancing to live music performed by Raul Jaurena and Maurizio Najt. The event, which is partly sponsored by Ossining-based Josie's International School of Dance, will take place at Arts Westchester at 31 Mamaroneck Ave. in White Plains. Admission for the event is $15 for the general public and $10 for students and seniors.

Outdoor Winter Farmers Market, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Sunday

2012 Sailboat Racing Open Mixer, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Meet sailboat enthusiasts at the Shattemuc Yacht Club on Westerly Road in Ossining. The club's "Big Boat Buyer Mentors" will be there to help people get started in searching for their first or next boat. Club members will review 2011 racing events and set up the 2012 race calendar and seminar schedule. The event is free and open to all. Refreshments will be available.

Tracks in the Snow, 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Many animals are out searching for food and leaving tracks at Teatown Lake Reservation. Follow their tracks and other signs to see what they are doing in the cold winter world. The event is free for Teatown members and $5 for non-members.

Monday

Interfaith Service in Honor of Martin Luther King, 7:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.

An interfaith service at Ossining's Star of Bethlehem Church in honor of Martin Luther King will feature keynote speaker Julio Medina, a former prisoner who founded Exodus Transitional Community, a non-profit organization that helps men and women transition from incarceration. The service is meant to be as inclusive as possible, reflecting King's idea that we are all brothers and sisters, no matter where we come from or who we are. There will also be readings from King's writings, scripture readings and songs sung by the Briarcliff High School chorus, the choir at Bethlehem Church and the general public. The Star of Bethlehem Church is located at 304 Spring Street in Ossining.
