The school, which was founded in 1965 and is located at 300 Dalmeny Road, a short distance from Ossining, will also open its doors to the public on Wednesday, Feb. 1 from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 2 p.m.

Accredited by the Middle State Commission of Elementary Schools (MSCES) of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, St. Theresa, which teaches students from Pre-k to eighth grade, provides "a family oriented, faith community where children are encouraged to achieve their full potential in a warm, supportive environment, where God and prayer are part of their everyday lives," according to its literature.

"The immediate experience of visitors to St. Theresa's is that of community," wrote the MSCES. "The school is intimately involved with the lives of the families of children who attend as well as on the life of the parish."
