SPCA's Briarcliff Shelter Seeks Sponsors For Lonely Hearts Club

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- SPCA of Westchester is looking for people to sponsor a dog or cat from its Lonely Hearts Club for Valentine's Day.

The Lonely Hearts Club consists of overlooked dogs and cats who have lived at the SPCA for more than six months.

Families looking to adopt one of the club's furry companions are given special incentives, but many still need a loving home.

The cost for sponsoring a cat still seeking a home is $25 for a month and $50 for a dog. The amount covers the cost of food, toys, medication and enrichment training.
