Route 9A between Ryder Road and Route 117 will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for maintenance activities, state Department of Transportation officials said.
Travelers are advised to plan their trips accordingly and use posted detours.
The stretch spans Ossining, Briarcliff and Mount Pleasant
State DOT officials also want to remind travelers that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in driver's license suspension.
