VALHALLA, N.Y. Mount Pleasant Police said Wednesday that workers at the Guadalajara Mexican restaurant in Briarcliff Manor reported a stolen painting worth an estimated $20,000. The stolen painting was hanging on the wall inside of the restaurant and was reported to Mount Pleasant Police around 4 p.m. on March 5. Police Chief Louis Alagno said no arrest has been made and the incident is under investigation. Alagno added that the painting was small enough to be stored under an article of clothing.

Driving While Intoxicated: Mount Pleasant Police reported to a two-car accident on Commerce Street in Thornwood at around 4 p.m. on March 3. After an investigation on the scene, police arrested and charged Alan Dahle, 52 of Thornwood, with misdemeanor DWI. Police said no injuries were reported in the crash.
Identity Theft: Alagno said that a 46-year-old Pleasantville man reported on March 5 that his CitiBank credit card account and associated frequent flyer miles had been accessed and used to book nine round-trip flights. Alagno said the incident is under investigation and no arrest has been made.
