BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. The filing deadline for trustee candidates came and went Tuesday in Briarcliff Manor but no new candidates filed to run.
Mark Pohar and Robert Murray received the nominations from the Peoples Caucus of Briarcliff Manor in January. They are officially set to run unopposed for the two seats being vacated by trustees Robert Mayer and Anthony Capasso, who will not seek reelection this year. Village Clerk Christine Dennett confirmed Wednesday that Pohar and Murray were the only two candidates to meet Tuesdays filing deadline. Pohar and Murray will run unopposed for the two vacant seats in the March election.
