Passport Unit Coming To Briarcliff Tops Village Manager's Report

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- The Westchester Mobile Passport Office will be in front of Briarcliff Manor Village Hall on Monday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., according to Village Manager Philip E. Zegarelli's latest report.

Parking lot

The entire village parking lot between the mini-park and the Getty station was to be closed to all users Tuesday to enable the contractor to complete the final repaving and restriping of the lot. Based on weather conditions, the lot should reopen on Wednesday. 

Rummage sale 

The Briarcliff Congregational Church’s annual rummage sale will be held Saturday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at 30 S. State Road. Items such as clothes, jewelry, books, china, housewares, toys, appliances, furniture, sporting goods and more will be available. Playing field and parks

All fields and play areas are open. In related issues, the village is awaiting final approvals to open the new comfort station at the Club Field. Law Park/Pavilion: Workers are near completion of the pool deck-level facilities. The pool itself is undergoing “shock treatment” in preparation for the Memorial Day opening. 

Library/community center news

Drop-In Technology will take place on Fridays until June 10 from 4-6 p.m. Have a question about using your tablet, smartphone, laptop or other technology issues? Drop in to the library to meet with a high school student volunteer for up to a 60-minute session. 

Parks and recreation 

The 2016 spring/summer recreation brochure is available on the village website. Visit the Recreation page at www.briarcliffmanor.org to access the brochure and review the array of programs and services available to all village residents.

Mayor and Board of Trustees 

A Board of Trustees workshop is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday.
