OSSINING, N.Y. An Ossining resident has won $10,000 by playing the Mega Millions lottery, New York lottery officials announced on Monday.
Ana Rodriguez of Ossining purchased her winning ticket at the Tappan Zee Stationery store at 350 South Broadway in Tarrytown, officials said.
Rodriguez's ticket was drawn on July 29. She can claim her prize at various locations throughout the state, including the Empire City Casino at Yonkers Raceway.
Other lottery winners in the area were Joseph Rosally-Simpson of Ardsley, who won $10,000 in the Powerball drawing on July 23, and Matthew Giblin of Dobbs Ferry, who won $10,000 in the Powerball drawing on July 27.
Rosally-Simpson bought his ticket at the Ardsely Snack Mart at 730 Saw Mill River Rd. in Ardsley, and Giblin bought his ticket at the Hi Smiley Food Mart at 107 Main St. in Dobbs Ferry.
