A multi-vehicle accident resulting in the closure of the left lane on a stretch of the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway in Greenburgh Friday afternoon.

The accident, reported just after 1 p.m., occurred south of I-287 in the area of the former La Cantina Restaurant.

One of the vehicles hit a guardrail.
