Missing Hudson Valley Girl Likely A Runaway, Police Say

SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. -- A Spring Valley girl who was reported missing Monday is likely a runaway, police said Tuesday.

Spring Valley Police Chief Paul Modica said Kelly Rivera-Pillco, 10, made contact with friends and her mother via social media, according to multiple reports. Spring Valley Police are pursuing a lead that the girl took a cab in Manhattan to see her father, according to News 12.

Rivera Pillco was last seen at 8:15 a.m. on Monday at the corner of Bethune Blvd. and Ben Wild Rd. at her bus stop.

Kelly never boarded the bus and did not attend school.

She was last seen wearing a black jacket, white long sleeve shirt, a blue overall type skirt and brown Ugg boots with white trim.

She is 5-foot-2, 118 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
