Man Robbed Of $600 Along Aqueduct In Ossining

OSSINING, N.Y. – A man was robbed of $600 while walking home along the Aqueduct between Maple and Church Street, police said.

The victim was accosted from behind, then robbed at around 3:10 p.m. on July 10, police said. The victim appeared to be intoxicated at the time he made the police report and could not give an accurate description of the two alleged robbers, police said.

Also in Ossining:

- A 26-year-old man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after his van collided with a vehicle parked near 33 Maurice Avenue, police said.

Jonas Portorreal's Chevy Astro Van collided with a parked Ford Mustang at around midnight on July 9, police said. Portorreal was observed to be intoxicated and was taken to police headquarters to be processed.

- A real estate agent reported that an empty residence at 32 Linden Avenue that she was taking a prospective buyer to see had graffiti painted on the walls inside and some holes in the walls, police said.

The agent discovered the front door to the residence unsecured on July 10 at around 10:15 a.m., police said. Neighbors told police that some teenagers had been seen entering and leaving the house.
