Knicks Player From Hudson Valley Shot During Robbery

The New York Knicks' Cleanthony Early, who attended Pine Bush High School in the Hudson Valley, was robbed and shot in Queens early Wednesday, Dec. 30, according to multiple reports.

Police said Early was shot once in the left leg and was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center in stable condition, according to reports.

Based on investigations into the incident, police said it appears Early left a club around 4:30 a.m. when his taxi was surrounded by three vehicles, and a group of people, who ordered him to get out of the taxi, CNN reported.

According to police, Early handed over his gold chains before he was shot; no suspects have been arrested in the incident, CNN stated.
