Increased Security Set For Westchester Transportation Systems

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Commuters should expect additional crowds at transportation hubs in the Hudson Valley, including the Metro-North train system the next few days, according to News 12 Westchester.

Security has been increased in Yonkers, where officers have been equipped with automatic weapons, News 12 Westchester said. Yonkers Police Commissioner Charles Gardner told News 12 Westchester he ordered the increased security as a precautionary measure.
