BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. The Daily Briarcliff has begun a series called How Your Village Works to help explain what goes on at Briarcliff Village Hall and what you need to know. Monday we looked at the village board, yesterday we looked at the planning board and today well look at the zoning board.
The village Zoning Board of Appeals consists of five members appointed by the village board of trustees.
The zoning board generally meets once every two months. Agendas or zoning meetings are available online one month to six weeks before the meeting. If someone has a question on an agenda before a meeting, they can call Christine Dennett, the village clerk at 914-941-4801, or David Turiano, the village engineer, at 914-944-2770.
Public comment is allowed during meetings, with no time limit for comments.
Minutes for meetings are available on the village website or in village hall. Minutes for one meeting are generally adopted at the next meeting, and then posted online.
