Harvest Festival Now Set For Nov. 12 in Briarcliff

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – The Harvest Festival that was postponed due to the recent snowstorm is scheduled to take place on Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on North State Road by Blue Lantern Road in Briarcliff.

The event will feature local businesses, vendors, demos, music, rides for kids, food and more. Opening ceremonies are expected to start at 10 a.m. and be followed by a costume contest at noon and a pet parade presented by the SPCA. County police will sponsor a Safe Child booth as well as install safety seats for kids in attendance.

"Last year marked the kick-off of this wonderful event and we hosted over 3,000 attendees. This year will be as exciting and even better," said Gayle Marchica, president of the Greater Ossining Chamber of Commerce, which is sponsoring the event.

The festival is being coordinated by OJH Productions, an Ossining-based company led by Omar Herrera that offers lighting, sound, event planning, DJ services and decorations.
