PEEKSKILL, N.Y. A fundraising "HippieFest" concert, featuring rock stars of the 60's and 70's, is planned for tonight at 8 p.m. at the Paramount Center for the Arts in Peekskill.
Part of the proceeds go towards supporting The Ossining Arts Council.
Musicians who will perform at "HippieFest: A Concert for Peace and Love" include Dave Mason, Rick Derringer, Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad and Felix Cavaliere's Rascals.
Discounted tickets cost $40.
Upstairs from the concert venue, the Ossining Arts Council's Exhibition "O," featuring work of 53 members of the OAC, is on display until Oct. 29. Climb the stairs to take a look!
