Veronica A. Menna, formerly of N. Tarrytown and Briarcliff Manor died in Liverpool, NY on September 6, 2011 at the age of 80. Born in N. Tarrytown, she was the daughter of Anthony and Mary Sles Gasparovic. Prior to moving to the Syracuse area in 2010, she had also lived in Vienna, VA and Salem SC.
Veronica was a loving wife and mother who cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was the wife of Rudy Menna who predeceased her in 2009.
She is survived by her daughters Dolores (Philip) Miller of Camillus, NY and Dorothy (Robert) Brayley of Little Compton, RI; sons, Robert (Merridy) Menna of Great Falls, VA, William (Annette) Menna of Cedar Park, TX and Arthur Menna of Arlington, VA. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and her sisters Mary Jelenek, Therese Malone, Louise Green and Joan Kiselak, her brother Anthony 'Sonny' Gasparovic and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Friday from 4 to 8 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be Saturday at 10:00 at St. Teresa of Avila Church with interment to follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
