In his memoir, Farkas presents his recollections of growing up in Budapest before and during World War II as well as his flight to freedom in the United States.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signed by the author. Ten percent of all book sales will be donated to The Friends of the Briarcliff Manor Public Library.
Farkas was library director in Briarcliff from 1968 until 1996.
