Firearms Stolen From Ossining Home

OSSINING, N.Y. – Two long guns, a 12-guage shotgun and a carbine were stolen after a break-in at a home on Madison Avenue, police said.

The burglary at 10 Madison Ave. took place sometime between the afternoon of Nov. 25 and the evening of Nov. 26, police said.

Also in Ossining:

- A 38-year-old Ossining man was arrested after he punched a woman in the face, police said.

The woman was at 171 North Highland Ave. when Robert Hicks of 35 Snowden Ave. began fighting with her boyfriend, police said. When the woman tried to stop the fight, Hicks punched her in the face, according to the police report.

After police arrived at the scene, they said they found Hicks hiding underneath a van. Hicks was arrested and charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor.
