Briarcliff Woman Told to Stay Off Neighbor's Land

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – A resident of Old Briarcliff Road called the police after his neighbor came over to his property and measured the distance from the property line to his house, police said.

Ann Wolf, the neighbor, was told by a police officer on Sept. 25 at around 2:50 p.m. not to go onto Steven Vescio's property any more, police said.

Also in Briarcliff:

- A resident of 28 Butternut Rd. told police on Sept. 22 at around 12 p.m. that a package was taken from her doorstep, police said.

After talking with a police officer, the resident said she would check with her daughter to see if she had taken the package.

- Someone called police when they saw a man in dark clothing walking along Route 9 on Sept. 26 at around 10 p.m. police said. The pedestrian was given a ride by police to CVS.
