BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. The executive vice president of the Trump National Golf Club in Briarcliff said on Monday that the golf club family "could not be happier" for the birth of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner's baby daughter, Arabella Rose.
"They're an outstanding couple. They are such down to earth, wonderful people," said Dan Scavino. "Donald and Ivanka were raised by the Trump family with a great upbringing and no doubt they'll raise their newborns the same way."
Ivanka Trump and her husband live in the city, but they occasionally play golf in Westchester, Scavino said.
Aside from Ivanka's new baby, Donald Trump, Jr. and his wife Vanessa are also expecting a newborn, their third child, within the next few months.
According to The NY Daily News, Donald Trump revealed the name of his new granddaughter on Monday and said it was "very exotic."
"I just left the hospital and the baby is beautiful," he said on "Fox & Friends."
Ivanka, 29, tweeted to her followers that she and Kushner had just become first-time parents.
"This morning Jared and I welcomed a beautiful and healthy little baby girl into the world. We feel incredibly grateful and blessed. Thank you for your support and well wishes!" she wrote.
The baby was born in an undisclosed hospital in New York City on Sunday.
