BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y . -- A meeting to present information on contamination and remediation of two athletic fields in the middle school/high school complex has been scheduled for Nov. 17.
The meeting was originally scheduled to take place over two nights in September, but was postponed because the district had not been able to find a toxicologist to interpret results of field testing.
"We've rescheduled the fields presentation to take place in one evening instead of two," said Stuart Mattey, the assistant superintendent of business and technology for Briarcliff schools, at a Board of Education meeting on Monday.
Mattey said he thought it would be easier for people to make it to one single meeting instead of two consecutive night meetings.
The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in the Briarcliff Middle School theater.
