Briarcliff Resident is Yorktown's Newest Doc

YORKTOWN, N.Y.-- The doctor is in Yorktown, and she’s ready to see patients.

Egesta Mani, MD, has joined the Westchester Medical Practice and is seeing patients at the WMP’s offices in Yorktown.

“Working with The Westchester Medical Practice gives me the opportunity to give my patients the personalized attention they deserve,’’ said Dr. Mani. “I like to take time with my patients and give them full explanations in a simple way they can understand so we can work together towards improving their health.’’

Mani is a board certified internist who graduated with honors from the Tirana University Medical School in Albania. Subsequent to medical school, she did research at the Weill Cornell Medical College on Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura, a blood condition which causes patients to suffer from low platelette counts and increased bruisng. Mani completed her internal medicine training at Lincoln Hospital, also an affiliate of the Weill Cornell Medical College.

Mani lives in Briarcliff Manor with her husband, Dr. Neritan Mani, the medical director of The WMP Hospitalist Group at Hudson Valley Hospital Center, and their two children. She speaks four languages, including English, Albanian, Italian and Spanish.
