Briarcliff Nears Completion Of Community Center

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- The Summer Doldrums are here and work at the Community Center is progressing for a fall opening. The center will have new broadcast ability for televising meetings and events.

The Community Center was a centerpiece of getting the bond passed for the Briarcliff Public Library expansion.

In other village news, foundations for a new hydro pneumatic water system, for pressure, have been poured. This system will eliminate the old water tank on Lodge road that is well past its useful life span.
