Briarcliff Manor Village Report Highlights Pool Permits, Fields Update

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – Village tax bills for 2013-14 were sent last week to Briarcliff Manor residents and must be postmarked by July 1, Village Manager Philip E. Zegarelli announced in his latest village report.

The following are highlights from Zegarelli’s report:

Briarcliff Manor’s Village Pool Facility: Village pool permits are now required, or the payment of $10 Per person if you have not been able to register for the season pass. For other details, contact our recreation office at 914-941-6560.

VBM Fields Update: The heavy rains and cooler temperatures have boosted field recovery. All fields are being prepped for this weekend’s activities. But a reminder: once the season is over, we will be “mothballing” the Club Field for a full-court blitz of over seeding and over feeding to rejuvenate and restore it for the Fall season.

Construction Alerts: There is contractor’s sanitary sewer work from Old Sleepy Hollow Road (at the north end of Pocantico Lake) with its eventual connection at Chestnut Hill Lane.  Water and sewer connections associated with the “445” North State affordable housing project are well underway.

DPW’s Organic Transfer Area: Remember the DPW’s Organic Transfer Area continues to be closed for all residents and landscapers.

Village Hall Summer Hours: Village administrative staff summer hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (versus 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) Monday to Thursday.  Fridays are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
