The brochure, which is available on the Briarcliff Manor Public Library's website, features "a variety of creative, informative and entertaining programs are scheduled for adults, teens and children," representatives said.
"These include a new book discussion group for adults - 'Let's Talk About It: Muslim Journeys,' a technology workshop on Apple products (iPhone, iPad, etc.), movies for adults and families and our regular story times and craft programs for children (starting again in January)," representatives said.
"Let’s Talk About It: Muslim Journeys" is a special 2014 program running Thursdays from February to June. The program will feature a scholar-led reading and discussion "designed for libraries seeking to provide opportunities for informed discussion in their communities about the histories, faith, and cultures of Muslims around the world and within the United States," according to the brochure. Fawzia Afzal-Khan, a university distinguished scholar and professor of English, will lead the discussions. Participants are encouraged to attend all five sessions.
Registration information for these programs is included in the brochure.
