Briarcliff-Based SPCA To Host Fund-raiser Gala

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- The SPCA of Westchester, whose headquarters are in Briarcliff Manor, is hosting a special Top Hat and Cocktails Gala fund-raiser on Friday at the Ritz-Carlton in White Plains.

The event, which starts at 7 p.m. will honor Lisa P. Rockefeller, Maria Milito and Alexa and Rachel Kitaygorodsky, and will raise funds for animals of the SPCA of Westchester, according to a news release. 

"This formal and elegant evening features a unique twist -- guests are invited to bring along a well-behaved canine 'date,'" representatives said in the release. "The evening features cocktails and hors d'oeuvres with various complimentary animal related activities for our guests and their pets to enjoy such as an Canine Ice Cream Bar, Animal Communicator and Personalized Pet Portraits, in addition to a fabulous silent auction and dancing." 

The fund-raiser is also looking for sponsors, advertisers for the benefit journal and donations for the evening's silent auction.
