Seniors learned  “How to Get the Most from Your iPad or iPhone – Basics and Beyond”  with the assistance of digital media expert Robert Kissner. He is the president of Digital Arts Experience in White Plains.

Workshop participants reviewed and gained confidence using basic iPhone and iPad functions. They also learned how to download and use “apps” such as Red Laser for comparing prices and generating coupons while shopping, Facetime and Skype for video chats between friends and family members, and other apps for saving passwords and playing games. Kissner also spent time on an individual basis with the seniors.

“We were delighted to have Rob Kissner as a featured speaker at The Club at Briarcliff Manor.  His talents and experience made him a very effective leader for the informative workshop he led for The Club’s future residents and guests, and everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed themselves while gaining valuable new skills,” said Shelley Lotter, assistant vice president of marketing for Integrated Development Group, which is developing The Club at Briarcliff Manor in partnership with the National Electrical Benefit Fund.
