Looking For Something To Do In Briarcliff? Go See 'Avenue Q'

If you need something to do this weekend after the snow melts. Or if you missed "Avenue Q" last weekend, Spotlight Theatre Productions is offering another round of entertainment on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Briarcliff.

The triple-crown Tony Award-winning play for Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book is a funny, non-politically correct look at life as if it were Sesame Street for adults. Performances are in the Julie Harris Theater of the ClearView School.

Friday and Saturday shows are at 8 p.m. and Sunday's matinee begins at 2 p.m.

Advance tickets for adults cost $21, for senior citizens and children under 12 the cost is $17.

All seats cost $25 apiece at the door.

Nicky is played by Charlie Giacomo Jr., also of Westchester County.

Nicky 2nd Hand is played by Stefanie Mellone. Rod is played by Jim Petrillo of Buchanan.

Trekkie Monster is played by Michael Santosusso of Yorktown.

Trekkie Monster 2nd Hand is played by Allison Samuel of Yorktown. Lucy is played by Gianna Cocciolillo. Bad Idea Bear Male is played by David Lowell. Bad Idea Bear Female is played by Carol Wagner of Pleasantville.

Mrs. T is played by Aranka Vitarius and Debra McNulty of Peekskill.

Brian is played by Phil Pineau of Eastchester.

Christmas Eve is played by Teresa Hui of Brooklyn.

Gary Coleman is played by  Marsha Prophet of Newtown, CT.

The show's Ensemble includes Alan Calabrese, Aranka Vitarius, Debbie Mellone, Allison Samuel, Pamela Lowell, Stefanie Mellone, John T. Leonard and Debra McNulty.
