Briarcliff held its annual Ragamuffin Parade on Saturday as kids proudly displayed their Halloween costumes two days before the big day. The kids walked to the Briarcliff Fire Department where they were treated to a magic show by Seth Dale and given a Halloween goody bag.
Debbie Johnson of the Briarcliff Fire Department has been helping to organize the parade for more than 30 years. She works with the recreation department and students earning community service to make sure each child gets a goody bag.
"It's exciting, it's so much fun," Johnson said. "I get so much enjoyment out of it. I really enjoy making a difference in these children's lives.
