BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – Weather, a rabid fox and children were among the themes for our top 10 photos for 2011.

Topping our list is a photo of two teens checking out the damage on Jackson Road after Hurricane Irene. Then comes a photo of what was a month-long eye sore for Briarcliff residents: heavy machinery on the strip of North State Road between Route 9A and Pleasantville Road as workers repaired a large hole that formed during Hurricane Irene.
