Monday, Sept. 24

Briarcliff Manor Board of Education Regular Meeting: 7:30 p.m. The Board of Education is set to talk about various items facing the district. The agenda is available on the district’s website. Briarcliff Middle School Theater, Briarcliff Manor.

Tuesday, Sept. 25

Village of Ossining Planning Board Regular Meeting: 7 p.m. This month’s agenda includes several proposals for construction work on various residences and businesses. Ossining Town Board Regular Meeting: 7:30 p.m. The items on this week’s agenda are scheduled to be available on the town’s website. 88 Spring St., Ossining.

Ossining Board of Trustees Work Session: 7:30 p.m. The agenda is scheduled to be available on the village’s website. 16 Croton Ave., Ossining.

Ossining Library Author Visit: 7 p.m. The Ossining Public Library welcomes New York Times Bestselling author Joseph Kanon to the library to discuss his recently published novel, "Istanbul Passage." Kanon is the author of acclaimed novels such as "Stardust," "The Good German," "Alibi," "The Prodigal Spy" and "Los Alamos." Books will be available for purchase and signing following the program.
