Online Language Learning Program: 6:30 p.m. Learn about the new, free, transparent online language learning program now available through the Briarcliff Manor Public Library. A comprehensive program for adults for learning 80-plus languages including Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), French, Japanese, Russian, Spanish and ESL. Briarcliff Manor Public Library, 1 Library Road.

Night Sky T-Shirt Making: 3:30 p.m. The Ossining Public Library’s “Own The Night” summer activities continue with the crafty creations program “Night Sky T-Shirts.” Pre-registration is required. Those interested are asked to call 941-2416 ext. 336. Ossining Public Library, 53 Croton Ave.

Teen Film Series at the Library: 3:30 p.m. The Ossining Public Library’s teen film series continues with “Planet 51.” The film is a part of the “Own The Night” teen programs going on at the Ossining Public Library throughout the summer. Ossining Public Library, 53 Croton Ave.

Ossining Public Library Presents “Carnage”: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The black comedy based on the award-winning play by Yasmina Reza stars Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet, Christoph Waltz and John C. Reilly. The film will be shown as a part of the summer film series “The Trouble With Boys.” Ossining Public Library, 53 Croton Ave.

Briarcliff Manor Board of Education Special Meeting: 7 p.m. The Board of Education is set to talk about a replacement for Rosella Ranno, who recently resigned from the board. The agenda is available on the district’s website. Briarcliff Middle School Theater, 444 Pleasantville Manor.
