The first of WCT’s three community open houses is set for 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 18.
It will unveil the organization’s new performance space at 23 Water St. in Ossining.
The next two open houses are set for Saturday, April 8, and Saturday, May 13.
Talks about WCT’s history and future plans, and tours of the space, will be given between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. It will remain open until 12:30 p.m. to accommodate drop-ins.
The newly renovated space previously housed a cabinet-making factory and mMuch of its original “industrial” look has been retained.
The space will be made available to local artists, musicians, and other theater groups and can also be rented out for private functions.
Acting and improv classes there begin in the spring.
WCT is currently presenting “Lot’s Wife,” a play by Hastings-on-Hudson’s Albi Gorn. Performances run through Saturday, March 25.
