Tova Hartman Named Scholar In Residence At Briarcliff Congregational Sons

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – The Congregational Sons in Briarcliff will host Tova Hartman as their Scholar in Residence during this upcoming weekend on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 29 and 30.

Hartman, the dean of humanities and a professor at Kiryat Ono Academic College, will give her main talk “Converts and the God of Our Ancestors.” on Saturday morning after Shabbat services.

She also will contribute to talks after meals on Friday night and Saturday afternoon.

Hartman will talk about “Jewish Peoplehood and Prayer” on Friday night and discuss “Can a Woman Be a Model for Prayer?” on Saturday afternoon at 1:15 p.m.
