Snowstorm Cancels Briarcliff Manor Area Events

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – A storm that's expected to dump several inches of snow on Briarcliff Manor has led to the cancellation of several weekend events.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Friday. 

What's been canceled/rescheduled:

• The Village of Briarcliff Manor has "canceled everything set for this weekend," according to an update from village officials. The Village of Briarcliff Manor office will close early. 
• The Briarcliff Manor Public Library closed at 2 p.m. Friday and is set to stay closed until Monday.
• The winter Farmers Market in Ossining on Saturday has been canceled.
• The Briarcliff Manor Union Free School District has canceled all afternoon/evening activities on Friday and Saturday.
• EagleFest, Croton Point Park's largest winter event, has been rescheduled to Sunday.
