The food pantry is hosting the 29th annual celebration on Sunday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Briarcliff Manor at 25 Studio Hill Road in Briarcliff.

Proceeds from the event, which costs $60 per person, will go toward purchasing food to feed the needy in Ossining.

The Ossining Food Pantry is a 100 percent volunteer run organization with no paid staff, relying on volunteers and donations from the community.

The food pantry serves a large cross-section of residents from the Greater Ossining area distributing food from a variety of locations and programs. The Pantry offers a client-choice program on Thursday evenings and Friday mornings at Trinity Church in downtown Ossining and home delivery is offered to those who cannot come to Trinity Church.

The Food Pantry also sponsors the Food Bank Mobile Pantry at Star of Bethlehem Church two afternoons each month.
