'Hoopla' Offers Movies, TV, Audiobooks To Darien Library Customers

DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien Library has announced a new partnership with Hoopla, a digital service that provides downloadable content to cardholders at no cost.

Hoopla gives cardholders access to thousands of television shows, movies, music and audiobooks that can be downloaded to any Apple or Andriod device. Cardholders are allowed up to 10 downloads per month. 

Hoopla digital currently has agreements in place with Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros Entertainment, Inc., Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group and eOne Music.

Patrons who use hoopla digital also avoid library late fees as digital content borrowing periods simply expire without additional charges.

To begin using the hoopla digital, library-card holders can download the free hoopla digital mobile app on their Android or IOS device or visit hoopladigital.com. The service is only available to patrons of participating public libraries.
