Thousands Without Power In NJ

Thousands of New Jersey residents were without power as of 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 29, following gusty winds that swept the region overnight.

The JCP&L map shows the following areas were in the dark:

Hunterdon County: 3,953 customers

Morris County: 3,642 customers

Warren County: 3,594 customers

Restoration times were not immediately available.

Thursday will be partly sunny with a high near 40 and wind chill values between 20 and 30, the National Weather Service said. Friday, March 1 will be sunny with a high of 47.
