BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- The Briarcliff Manor Public Library will be hosting a multimedia presentation, "Croton Point: A History" on Tuesday, March 18, at 7 p.m.
Scott Craven, a local history and Hudson River expert, will discuss the major historical and ecological themes of Croton Point. He will discuss its glacial origins and original inhabitants, brick making and the railroads and its notoriety as a landfill and a park.
This program is presented in conjunction with the Briarcliff Manor Scarborough Historical Society.
