Briarcliff Holds Family Fun Night July 12

BRIARCLIFF, N.Y. -- Families are invited out for a night of friendly competition as Briarcliff hosts Family Fun Night 2013 on July 12.

Briarcliff’s Annual Family Fun Night event will take place starting at 6 p.m. on the field adjacent to the Briarcliff Pool, behind the Atria housing complex.

Families will compete against each other in field events such as age group dashes, sack relay races and the Mom and Dad three-legged race. The action then moves into the pool with kickboard relays and age group freestyle races. The winning family receives a plaque and earns a spot in the Briarcliff Manor Recreation Department Hall of Fame.

Just For Fun events include a Mom and Dad Egg Toss, the Diaper Derby and the annual Family Penny Dive.

No pre-registration is required. In the event of rain, the event will be postponed until July 19.
