WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- UJA-Federation of New York’s Westchester Business and Professional Division honored Robison Oil co-president Daniel Singer and Debra Abrahams Weiner at its 2015 annual luncheon at the Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase.

More than 250 guests paid tribute to Weiner, of White Plains, and Singer, a Briarcliff Manor resident, for their leadership in the Westchester Jewish community and UJA-Federation. Singer and Weiner were honored for supporting the philanthropy of the UJA Federation in its mission of caring for people in need, inspiring a passion for Jewish life and learning, and strengthening Jewish communities in New York, in Israel, and around the world. Both honorees are members of the Westchester Business and Professional Division board.

Singer joined his family at Robison Oil in 1996 and is currently COO and president along with his brother, David. Robison employs more than 200 people and serves more than 24,000 homes and businesses throughout New York City, Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, and Fairfield counties.

Singer is past chair of UJA-Federation’s Westchester Business and Professional Division and a recent past president of Congregation Sons of Israel in Briarcliff Manor. He serves as co-chair of the American Jewish Committee’s Energy Independence Committee, as well as its Westchester Board of Directors.

A cum laude graduate from Syracuse University, he has served as a member of the board of trustees of the Solomon Schechter School of Westchester and is on its facilities committee.

Weiner is a financial professional who joined Stifel Nicolaus through the acquisition of Ryan Beck by Stifel Financial Corp. in 2007. She has been advising individual and institutional clients for the past 30 years. She is a past president of the Westchester Jewish Council, the Jewish community relations organization of Westchester with 158 member groups, and was the honoree of the Council gala in 2006. She is a past president of Bet Am Shalom Synagogue in White Plains.

The luncheon raised almost $200,000 of additional giving for UJA-Federation, which supports a network of nearly 100 health, human-service, educational, and community-building agencies.

Ann K. Silver of White Plains and Roy Stillman of Katonah served as luncheon chairs. Leslie Effron Levin of White Plains and Budd Wiesenberg of Mamaroneck are chairs of the Westchester Business and Professional Division.
