Retail Sales Fall During Rough Winter

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- February retail sales fell for the third straight month, the Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.

Despite an improving job market and cheaper gasoline prices, sales fell amid rough winter weather and consumer caution. 

Sales fell 0.6 percent in February, according to the Commerce Department. Sales fell 0.8 percent in January and 0.9 percent in December.
